The Gaining Turkish Citizenship According To The Turkish Citizenship Law Number 5901

The Turkish Citizenship Law Number 5901 combined with the system of citizenship law brings some differences in gaining and losing citizenship subjects. Although the new code doesn’t bring a radical change to the general content, it has a different approach to the Turkish Citizenship Law Number 403, in gaining original citizenship which can be by genealogical line, marriage adoption or other methods. Some of these differences can be listed as the rectification of titles and sub-titles, with some changes in the literal and actual wording of the articles. This study examines the role of citizenship in connection to a society and the law order of said society; the subject of citizenship has been examined as an instrument which serves to bind the person to the society
